We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to contribute to the seamless operation of the office. This role involves providing PA, Office Management, administrative, and marketing support. Additionally, it includes assisting other teams, departments, offices, or individuals within the company.
Main Duties
- Perform general office administration tasks such as filing, document binding, archiving, and answering phones.
- Manage project administration, including typing, filing, archiving, and keeping the practice database up-to-date.
- Welcome and greet visitors, ensuring refreshments and catering are ready.
- Monitor office stationery and supplies.
- Maintain an up-to-date internal telephone list and fire register.
- Chase project runners
- Organize internal and external meetings, book meeting rooms, and keep shared spaces tidy.
- Liaise with suppliers for office equipment issues..
- Assist with staff social arrangements and office events.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post.
- 3 A-levels with prior experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of graphics-based programs, such as Adobe InDesign (willingness to learn other programs as needed).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills in English (written and oral).
- Interest or knowledge of architecture and design is advantageous but not essential.
- Entitled to 22 days per annum + bank holiday for leave 3 of those 22 are used during Christmas and New Year.. and as you will start in Feb this will be pro rata'd
- After 3 months you will be entitled to flexible working which allows you to work in the office 3 days a week and 2 days from home. Plus movement on when you start your day (so could start earlier and finish earlier or later if needed. There are more T&Cs on that).
