Role overview:
Reporting to the Department Head for Construction Services, the Administrator will be working in the DRAX DPL offices and be responsible for completing a variety of admin tasks, depending on DRAX s requirements, ensuring that all works completed are done so, safely, on time, and to a world-class standard.

Role overview:
Reporting to the Department Head for Construction Services, the Administrator will be working in the DRAX DPL offices and be responsible for completing a variety of admin tasks, depending on DRAX s requirements, ensuring that all works completed are done so, safely, on time, and to a world-class standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Inputting data into technical spreadsheets, such as repair and inspection information, meeting comments and actions. This includes archiving superseded information
- Attending meetings and taking minutes, including distributing minutes/actions once approved
- Acknowledging and raising purchase orders, keeping a audit trail of information
- Writing up/transferring notes from inspection surveys
- Collating survey reports and information to support the creation of work packages
- Managing the Barrier register, specifically ensuring this is always up to date, and liaising with other team members to update register on completed/extended works
- General admin duties, including but not limited to, updating documents, proofreading documents, conducting research, filing paperwork, updating KPI information, printing and copying documents, sourcing photos and drawing within the system and sharing
Requirements

- Hold a full driving license, valid in the UK.
- Have previous experience working in an administrative role, preferably within a construction/civils environment
- Previous experience of taking meeting minutes preferable
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, including a great eye for detail
- Excellent levels of computer literacy in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent organisation skills, and a positive & professional attitude.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously, as well as working collaboratively with a wider team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team
- 11.25 per hour, 20 hours per week (Equivalent to 11,700 per annum part time, FTE 21,937)
