Job Description: The role is for a Full Stack Engineer to lead a Greenfield project for a new trading desk, focusing primarily on UI development using Angular. The position requires experience in backend technologies such as C# and Python, as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills. The engineer will be responsible for building dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making processes. This is a 6-month contract based in London, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of UI components using Angular for a new trading desk.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools from scratch to aid decision-making.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the trading desk, engaging with end users and stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement them effectively.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Angular (latest versions).
  • Experience with AG Grid, DevExtreme, D3, and real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of building micro frontends.
  • Experience with Python and C#.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

Our client is looking for a Full stack engineer to join them to kick start a Greenfield project to build out multiple new projects for a new trading desk which the company has started.

For this role the front end technology that has been chosen is Angular, the backend of the stack is C#, .NET and Python, so having worked on systems with similar backend technology is a bonus. However the primary skill set needed and focus of this project is UI development and Angular.

The types of things you will come in and be building from scratch are dashboards, reporting tools etc all to help with decision making across the trading desk.

In this role you will be the main point of contact for the trading desk so having experience working with end users/ stakeholders is going to be essential, as well as being confident with gathering requirements, architecting the solutions and then building them out.

Experience needed:

  • Angular (latest versions)
  • AG Grid, DevExtreme, D3 etc
  • Experience with Real-time systems
  • Experience building Micro frontends
  • Python / C#
  • Azure (this is the cloud they will be using)

Contract Details:

  • Initial 6 months rolling contract
  • Inside IR35
  • £700pd
  • Hybrid 2 days a week in the office (london)
