Our client is a major digital consultancy who are looking for an experienced AWS cloud engineer on an 18-month contract for 435 per day.

You will work with other technological specialists in supporting new platforms as they are deployed. The client is looking for you to bring broad experience in development, infrastructure engineering and operations.

The role will consist of the following:

• Leading a team of infrastructure specialists ensuring services are integrated, delivered and operated as required
• Ongoing building and maintenance of infrastructure environments
• Planning and scheduling of appropriate cloud infrastructure releases
• Developing necessary pipelines to support DevOps cloud practices
• Providing guidance and mentoring where possible

What you'll need to succeed

The following technical skills are essential for this role:

• Deploying, developing and managing an AWS cloud platform
• Automation and Scripting skills eg Python, Ruby, Groovy
• Shell Scripting eg Bash
• Automated deployment technologies eg Ansible, Terraform, AWX
• CI/CD tools eg Jenkins, Maven, Grindle
• Kubernetes container management platforms eg EKS, Openshift
