Hampshire based client, hybrid working with 2 days per week required onsite

Leading business is looking to bring a seasoned AWS Data Warehouse (DWH) Architect who is not only proficient in Kimball methodology but also passionate about driving transformative change through data. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our company's evolution.

The AWS DWH Architect will be responsible for development and automation of the AWS Data Warehouse and Analytics.

The role in a nutshell:

• Data Warehouse Design and Development:
• Design and implement data warehouses on AWS using the Kimball methodology.
• Develop scalable and efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• AWS Platform Expertise
• Data Modeling and Optimisation

Experience/Skills:

• Significant experience developing in AWS CDH architecture is essential.
• Proven experience in developing Kimball data warehouses from scratch either in Legacy platforms or directly in AWS CDH is essential.
• Experience of implementing DBMS on AWS CDH (Redshift/Snowflake or other)
• Business facing and able to work directly with business users to understand and clarify requirements for development of an over-arching Enterprise Data Model based on business drivers & core data assets.
• Datamodelling experience in Kimball warehouses (from conception to optimisation), and of the design and management of Enterprise Data Models on the AWS Platform, including the ability to design and lead development of automated processes
