Azure Data Engineer / Outside IR35 - London

An Azure Data Engineer is needed to join a market leader, to assist the design and delivery of a new Azure data environment. You will be responsible for building a new end to end centralised data lakehouse, hosted on Azure Databricks.

Skills / Experience

• Strong understanding of Delta Lake and Data Modelling guides
• Strong experience of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, PySpark, Spark and SQL
• Experience using CI/CD Pipelines within Azure DevOps
• Azure Purview/Databricks Unity catalogue
• Code, Repository and Environment management skills
• Reporting and Visualisation Tools (Tableau and Power BI)
• Hands on experience with monitoring and supporting/optimizing production low latency workloads

To be successful it is imperative to have previous Delta Lake and Data Modelling experience.

This role will require a few days per week in their London office. Initial 6 months contract, outside IR35.
