Role: Azure DevOps Engineer

Duration: 3 months Initially

Location: Hybrid (UK-based)

Day Rate: c. 475/day outside IR35

The Role

Our partner is looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to play a key role within a DevOps discovery programme. You will work closely with development and operations teams to optimise development and deployment processes and implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline deployment workflows.
• Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Design, implement and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build and deployment processes.

Skills/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices
• Strong Scripting skills (eg, PowerShell, Bash)

Notable: This work is likely to require a level of infrequent onsite engagement near to Leeds.
