p>Azure DevOps Engineer
Gibbs Hybrid is looking for a Azure DevOps engineer for a contract with a world leading IT services contractor for one of their government accounts
Role - Azure DevOps Engineer
Rate - 450- 470 per day Inside IR35
Location - London/Leeds once every 3 weeks
Duration - 6 months
Your Primary Responsibilities Include
* Design, analyze, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
* Participate in on-call rotation, engage with product teams to fix production outages, and carry forward action items to improve ongoing reliability.
* Develop effective tooling, alerts, and response to both identify and address reliability risks including automatic problem detection and mitigation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* DevOps experience, maintaining Linux Servers (Alpine CentOS Debian);
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
* Experience in writing unit tests and/or functional tests;
* Experience in Azure;
* Experience with Terraform and understanding the underlying structures and models that power Terraform;
* Comfortable with Git version control Cryptography including PKI/certificate management
* Lead multiple delivery execution projects with full pipeline oversight from development to production with skill set including: Microservice/serverless and Kubernetes/Container technologies such as Docker Helm Terraform CI/CD technologies with Azure DevOps
