We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant community primary school located in Central Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of our two-form entry school, providing day-to-day cover in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supporting the academic and social development of students in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with teachers to plan and implement engaging and effective lessons.
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Providing support for individual students or small groups as directed by the class teacher.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere.
