Business Analyst to work on a Data Warehouse Project to transform how data is accesses & shared across Sequel Eclipse & through to Azure data services . The role is a contract outside IR35, for initial 6 months, hybrid London / home working. Our client is not one of the big major underwriters or brokers, they are a new, fresh business that is positively disrupting a very traditional market, so would someone that is excited by that journey.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience withing Data Warehousing / DWH projects, previously worked with Eclipse & Azure/Azure synapse, & will have extensive experience across the London Markets/ Lloyds of London sector.

Responsibilities:

• Define & manage requirements, changes, & processes for DWH, data migration gap analysis, test changes
• Perform analysis of data in source systems or data warehouse to identify potential improvements in processes for data capture
• Creation of data quality records, data profiling of source systems & data warehouse
• Support Eclipse by handling testing queries, configuration requirements & uses

Requirements:

• Experience as a Business Analyst in Lloyds / London Market Insurance
• Extensive DWH experience & data gathering processes & analysis
• Proven record of experience with Eclipse & Azure/Azure synapse
• Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal, & written communication skills
• Must be happy with 2-3 days in the office & the rest remote working
