Business Analyst- Glasgow/Hybrid- 6 Months- 450- 500 Umbrella

Responsibilities:

* Elicit, analyse, and validate stakeholder requirements, transforming these into detailed, actionable user stories.
* Take ownership of the backlog, prioritising and refining work items to ensure they are clearly defined and accurately estimated.
* Conduct and facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and focus groups, to gather comprehensive insights.
* Lead process mapping and gap analysis exercises to identify areas for improvement or automation.
* Work in close collaboration with the Scrum team, clarifying requirements and actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Utilise Azure DevOps for documentation, management, and tracking of requirements within the Agile lifecycle.
* Serve as a crucial bridge between business and technical teams, fostering effective communication and a shared understanding of project objectives and deliverables.

Skills/ Experience:

* Demonstrated prowess in business analysis, with a track record of successfully eliciting and documenting requirements for complex business and technology initiatives.
* Demonstrable knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* In-depth experience with Azure DevOps for, requirements tracking, and facilitating collaboration in Agile settings.
* Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to lead discussions and extract vital information from a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Proficient in a variety of requirements gathering techniques, including user story mapping, business process modelling, data flow diagramming, as well as process mapping and gap analysis.
* Experience in leading and contributing to Agile ceremonies, nurturing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.
