If you are an Business Analyst, that can provide excellent customer vision, and lead on story development, this role is for you
You must be available for interview early next week and to start within 2 weeks
You will lead on story development refinement events for the existing team and user story writing
You will be working as part of an internal multidisciplinary Layer7 team, and will have access to team members, both technical and non technical, and leadership.
You must be able to attend the Newcastle office, 2 days a week.
Working arrangements will be a blend of remote working and working from the Newcastle office, you will spend 40% of your time onsite and 60% at home. 100% remote working is not available, so please do not apply if you cannot attend the Newcastle office 2 days a week. Expenses are taken from your day rate.
You need to able to demonstrate the follow skills and have a minimum of 3 years exposure as a lead BA
You will lead the team to complete an Alpha phase, end of April, and mobilise on private beta;
- Working with Development team to deliver requirements
- Backlog refinement with Product Owner/Manager
- Own and manage Business requirements and ensure they are met for customers
- Lead and facilitate - Three Amigo meetings to refine tickets with relevant team members
- Move user stories which have met Definition of Ready to the development board
- Attend stand ups and other team meetings
- Attend team days in the office as required
- Development of run book templates, business continuity, Disaster Recovery plans on Confluence
- Facilitate workshops as required eg Monitoring and Alerting
Skills/knowledge
- Agile ways of working
- File Transfer experience
- GUI knowledge
- Accessibility knowledge/experience
You are also able to speak on behalf of your team and facilitate the relationships with all stakeholders and can make decisions based on risk, cost and solution rollout, with a clear capability of resolving requirement between the team and stakeholders. Previous Public Sector is advantageous
