p>Morson Talent are delighted to be working with a leader within the Telecommunications industry who require an Interim Business Partnering & Commercial Finance Manager to join them on an inital 6 - 12 month contract. This role will focus on development, calculation and management of commissions due and impacted by change projects. Reporting and analysis that this role creates will be used to adjust cash payments to their Indirect partners so holds a high level of responsibility and requires a keen focus on accuracy and problem solving, as well as commercial awareness.


In long term this role will look to build out a centre of excellence within the wider commission management process to provide assurance for all of the sales channels.


Candidates will be based in Central London with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.


Accountabilities
Assessing commissions payments made to their indirect partners to identify any discrepancies and performing root cause analysis to correct for future transactions
Performing gap analysis between source systems and SAP to identify and correct discrepancies in a timely manner, building models and data flows to correct for future payments.
Work closely with Enterprise commercial teams to understand future propositions and ensure commissions systems are able to calculate accurately
Creation of manual MI for modelled payments
Developing and owning complex analysis models in SQL to assure revenue payments.
Subject matter expert for Enterprise commissions, and associated commissions interfaces to Enterprise systems


Skills required for the job
Very advanced Excel and SQL skills
SQL analysis, coding, design, schemas, administration
Problem solver who is able to discover and think through solutions
Use of automation packages such as SSIS
Highly accurate, thorough with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills; explaining complex system and commissions solutions to senior stakeholders
Broad commercial acumen and understanding of Indirect model
Good team player
Planning and organising


Experience you would be expected to have
You ll be great at problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.
SQL programming and understanding of relational database concepts
Experience of senior stakeholder management, demonstrating ability to work closely with and partner with the business within a highly complex challenging environment.
Managing and manipulating large and complex datasets
Experienced communicating technical solutions and results to a non technical audience.
