We are hiring for Buyer for our client's project based at Armagh, Northern Ireland (2 days per week Onsite)

Minimum Requirement:

  • Buying food for schools along with catering equipment
  • Working with dynamic purchasing system providing advice and guidance on public procurement policies.
  • Work with Category Manager to provide advice and guidance to clients on procurement and procurement related matters
  • Develop commercial tender and contract documentation in line with public procurement policy and best practice
  • Implement and manage procurements to deliver Value for Money solutions within the public procurement policy, legal and accountability frameworks; and develop appropriate sourcing, pricing and assessment strategies in specific category areas..
  • Working within Catering Category.
  • Working with tenders and oracle-based system.

Must have

  • Buyer experience
  • Public sector experience
