Cloud Engineer/ Systems Administrator AWS, Azure, Networking,   12 Month - 550p.d to 625p.d Dublin/UK Hybrid
 
My client, a global sport s governing body, are seeking a System Administrator/ Cloud Engineer to join them for a twelve-month contract.
 
Assisting the Head of Technology Operations, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of IT infrastructure to ensure technology services remain operational and equipped to me3et the client s growing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage / Liaise with third party providers to ensure services operations run smoothly.
• Ensure that applications and server systems meet and maintain the operational objectives of availability, performance and security.
• Develop best practice performance metrics to track and record IT systems performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• End to end responsibility for systems project delivery across network, server and cloud systems.
• Work with business stakeholders, system engineers, security and the compliance team to ensure Azure/AWS architecture is secure and meets standards.

 
Qualifications and Experience:

• 5-10 years working experience in an IT systems management role
• In-depth knowledge of MS Operating systems, Active Directory and Office 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure to include Networking, Conditional Access, Backup, Application deployment, CCID, PIM and automated patching
• Experience with AWS to include: IAM, Organisations, Control Tower, CCID and DNS Management
• Previous experience connecting Azure to on premise services using Azure data gateway
• Experience of virtualisation and on-prem to cloud migrations
