Compliance SME – Integrated Regulatory Compliance Management
Role: Compliance SME – iRCM
Client: Large Multinational Bank
Location: London
Job type: Contract (4 months)
Pay: Competitive
We are currently hiring on behalf of a Large Multinational Bank for a Compliance SME in London.
This will be a 4-month contract and your main objective will be to support in the integrated Regulatory Compliance Management program activities of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
-Support with all issued iRCM duties
-Assisting UK and Ireland Treasury Compliance Departments and Global Banking Markets in updating regulatory libraries (GBMT and Compliance Department Units)
-Making recommendations on the regulatory obligations, building out existing regulatory library content, taking into account the impact of Brexit
-Understanding the consideration that should be shown for the banks risk appetite/culture on a day-to-day basis
The ideal candidate:
-Expert in FCA and PRA rules, guidance, technological standards, directives and regulations, in addition to Brexit statutory legislation and technical standards.
-Solid financial services experience
-Degree level in Business, Law, or a related subject
-Appropriate CISI/ICA qualifications
-Working knowledge of UK onshore statutory instruments and binding technical standards as a result of Brexit
-Good knowledge of UK/Ireland/EU regulatory agencies and regulatory frameworks in markets relevant to wholesale capital market, corporate banking, treasury, and investment banking.
