Leader Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher for a school that we work in close partnership in Barnsley. If you are enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of computer scientists and possess the skills to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality computer science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore and excel in computer science.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities and real-world applications, to make learning relevant and enjoyable.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the computer science curriculum.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in computer science education and incorporate industry trends into the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, computer systems, and software development.
• Experience in teaching computer science at the secondary school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to pursue further studies and careers in computer science.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
