Data Architect – Contract for 6 months outsideIR35

For one of our clients within Food Manufacturing industry we are looking for a Data Architect to collaborate with the Group Digital Director and Technical Director on the execution of four digital initiatives that are essential to the plan for digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the information and data architecture for each effort and link it to the comprehensive digital and data strategy.
• Investigation of existing processes, dataflow mapping, and dependency analysis
• Gap analysis of the data provided and possible future steps with regard to the use of technology
• For each of the 4 digital projects in line, specify the intended state data architecture.
• Maintaining databases that reflect the many data pieces, such as entities, connections, attributes, information flows, and business lexicon.

Requirements:

• Experience in data engineering, data warehousing/lake approaches, and data analytics
• Strong knowledge of data fabric and integration tools such as Mulesoft, Talend, Denodo, Informatica or Fivetran
• Excellent knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security
• Expert understanding of Azure and Power BI
• Track record of competing with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
• exposure to ETL instruments like DBT
