We are partnering with a global organization who is in need of a highly experienced individual for a six-month contract to manage the deployment of Microsoft Defender on a global scale.

The ideal candidate should possess in-depth expertise in designing, implementing, and onboarding devices onto Microsoft Defender, with an emphasis on Mac and Windows environments. Additionally, proficiency in fine-tuning alerts and configuring the transition of operations to a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global rollout of Microsoft Defender on both Mac and Windows platforms.


• Devise and implement strategies for the smooth onboarding of devices onto the Microsoft Defender platform.


• Oversee and tune security alerts to optimize threat detection and minimize false positives.


• Manage and configure the handoff process to an MSSP for continuous monitoring and response.


• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a cohesive security strategy.


• Provide comprehensive documentation and regular updates on the progress of deployment and security status.


• Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the deployment process.

Location: 1-2 days per week in their central London office, HOWEVER, it's flexible depending on the candidate's location

Daily rate:  550 - 750 outside IR35
