This is a fantastic Desktop Support Engineer contract opportunity to join a leading London based tech company.
The role is full time on site 5 days a week in the central Liverpool office with occasional UK wide travel and is Outside IR35.
Due to budgets the rate is 160/day (Outside IR35) this may suit first time contractors or more junior support engineers.
As Desktop Support Engineer you will be working in Windows, MS365 environments helping a range of users both in person and remote as well as the escalation point for 1st Line. The majority of users will be new joiners as part of acquisitions - so experience with new starters is essential as Desktop Support Engineer and Mergers or acquisitions would be preferred. There may be occasional (paid) visits to sites around the UK - as in 1 a week, the rest of the time the Desktop Support Engineer will be in the Liverpool office. The focus of the Desktop Support Engineer will be general IT support particularly around Infrastructure within a Windows 10 and 7 environment. As Desktop Support Engineer in depth Microsoft Office 365 and general associated hardware, Server etc is essential. As Desktop Support Engineer, Active Directory and usual experience with laptops and mobile devices are essential as is some exposure to Azure. As Desktop Support Engineer experience of Firewalls, Security Active Directory Migrations, SCCM or SQL Server as all desirable but not essential. As Desktop Support Engineer Financial service, banking or Microsoft certifications are desirable.
