Digital Business Analyst (Inside - IR35)

Contract Term: 12 Months

Contracting Authority: DWP

Location: Hybrid London, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Blackpool or Newcastle (1 Office day and 4 remote per week)

 

Work within the CCMP Optimisation workstream you will be a key part of the team in delivering change within the CCMP team. You will work across the product delivery lifecycle to bring together business needs with technical capabilities, with the goal of defining solutions that deliver value.

 

As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Working within a transformational multi-disciplinary team (User Researchers, Developers, QAs etc.) utilising agile methodologies.
  • Capable to translate business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements to deliver value and great outcomes for our users.
  • Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively understand the business problems and user needs. 
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Communicating effectively across both technical and business stakeholders and ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned.
  • Gain a good understanding of the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service.
  • Selecting the appropriate best practice techniques to model business processes, to identify potential process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to agree a suitable mix of epics, features & stories for each sprint, as well as contributing towards prioritisation activities.

 

You ll have relevant experience in:

  • Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst at enterprise level.
  • Experienced in analysing and refining user and stakeholder requirements.
  • Experienced in identifying and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in using a wide range of analysis techniques to understand the problem.
  • Able to identify improvements and make recommendations.
  • Experience of working on changes end to end from inception to delivery.
  • Technology Comfortable working within a technical area.
  • Data A sound understanding of working with data.

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Telecoms / Contact centre.
  • Public sector / previous DWP experience.
