Interim Shared Services Design Lead | Leeds | Hybrid | 4+ Months


We are currently seeking an experienced Shared Service Centre expert to get stuck into an exciting contract with a Consultancy company based in Leeds. The role will focus on the Service Design of a new Shared Service Centre across Finance, HR and Procurement.


They are looking for someone with previous experience of end-to-end SSC design builds, with exposure to 2 or more of the previously mentioned functions. Someone who is able to work autonomously and collaboratively to help drive the delivery prior to the project go-live in 12 months time.


Responsibilities

  • Defining transition states, roles and establishing a centre of excellence
  • User journey mapping, producing competency & behaviour frameworks and capability assessments
  • Working closely with the end client to support SSC design
  • Identify and manage dependencies between streams


Experience

  • Previous experience with Shared Service Centres essential
  • HR, Finance and Procurement experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Strong attention to detail


Logistics

  • Initial 4 month contract
  • Likely outside IR35
  • 2 days/week in office hybrid working
