ELECTRICAL CALIBRATION OPERATOR - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - 23.91 PER HOUR - UNDERGO BPSS - BOLTON - 12 MONTHS (+LIKELY EXTENSION) - SINGLE STAGE F2F INTERVIEW

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Calibration Operator to work a 12 month deal from their major site in Bolton.

As the selected Electrical Calibration Operator, you will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing function with the following responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team to support the Operations team.
• Performing initial calibration, routine calibration, and maintenance of Special To Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment.
• Ensuring that factory and proprietary test and measuring equipment is maintained in accordance with current procedures.
• Conducting calibration and repair tasks following departmental processes and procedures.
• Generating clear and comprehensive calibration/maintenance records for traceability purposes.

Skillset/Experience Required: To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Generating clear and comprehensive calibration and maintenance records.
• Experience in calibrating COTS/Special to Type Test Equipment.
• Proficiency in calibrating electrical equipment such as Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, etc.
• Experience in In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
• Competence in following manufacturer's instructions.
• Desirable: A good understanding of SAP.
• Time served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.
• City & Guilds part 2 & 3/ONC/HNC in Electronics.
• Desirable: Experience working on Environmental Stress Screening Facilities (ESS).
