Embedded Software, Verification, bare metal, validation

Leading manufacturing company are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Verification Engineer to join a cutting edge project working on space aviation/space flight products. We require someone with previous safety critical and/or resource scarce software V&V experience & familiarity with Embedded C software/code V&V.

Responsibilities

• Input into the verification of flight software designs.
• Set up of test environment.
• Test plans.
• Verification, validation and integration of flight software

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Verification Engineer within a similar setting, preferably aerospace, medical or space.
• Experience of software development methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing test plans.
• experience of doing the above in/working on products underpinned by Embedded C code

Nice to have:

• Flight software experience
• working with resource restricted bare metal code V&V & test
