Engineering Technical Lead - Python

Our customer, a reputable London based insurer are looking for an Engineering Tech Lead, who can lead a squad of 6 junior python developers from a technical standpoint. This role is more of a hands on technical role than a management position and you will coach/mentor the Junior Python Developers rather than actually manage them.

They are looking for this person to work in London a couple of days a week and they will employ you on a 6 month rolling contract, although this could go permanent to the right candidate.

Skills and Experience required:

• Python
• Django
• Fast API
• C#
• Front end software engineer experience.
• Experience on/with scalable products
• scrum master/lead.
• Technical reviews and strategy lead.

Other:

Insurance experience or Modern Underwriting Platform knowledge / exposure would be a big help.
