Contract: 12 Months

Location: Essex based Offices 1 to 2 days a week

Rate: 675 per Day Inside IR35

The banking and financial services division of a global manufacturer is seeking an Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in driving the Company s strategic transformation efforts.

You will work with multiple teams to help them in their migration from existing legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms. Your expertise in financial organisations, cloud technology and enterprise architecture will be instrumental in guiding our modernisation efforts and ensuring a seamless transition for both our business partners and our banking customers.

As part of this role you will work with both engineering product teams and senior business managers to help define both the technical and business strategy at an enterprise level.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Enterprise, Solution, Technical Architect Banking, Legacy to Cloud Migration

> Help develop future strategic solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, IT product teams and external partners

> Develop and maintain architecture artefacts including roadmaps and current / future state designs following industry standard architecture models such as TOGAF

> Design transitional architectures to help product teams on their modernisation journeys and guide teams through required enterprise architecture processes ensuring alignment with banking standards.

> Provide technical leadership and guidance to product teams, overseeing implementation of architecture designs and sharing your experience

Essential Skills & Experience

Enterprise, Solution, Technical Architect Banking, Legacy to Cloud Migration

# Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect, experience of helping to implement successful modernisation projects and migrating existing applications to the cloud

# 10+ years experience in Enterprise / Solution / Cloud Architecture Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong development background in Java, React etc.

# Experience of leading cross functional teams through large scale technology transformation initiatives within the financial industry

# Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and associated best practices

# Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong emphasis on follow through, whilst managing your own workload.

# Proficiency in developing Enterprise / Solution Architecture artefacts using standard architecture frameworks such as TOGAF/Zachman

Desirable (not essential) Skills & Experience

~ Experience in Banking and Financial Regulatory Reporting space.

~ Knowledge of Security and identity management architecture standards (IAM)

~ Familiarity with modern software development methodologies, DevOps practices and agile/SAFE frameworks

~ Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.

~ Degree in computer science/engineering, Data science or related field

~ Implementation knowledge of common FinTech Core Banking platforms

~ Familiarity with financial regulations and privacy standards in EU banking

~ Ability to work on multiple projects in fast paced & dynamic environment Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and platforms
