p>We have a fantastic long-term contract opportunity available for a Project Engineer within the Cross Functional Test Facilities Team which is part of Engineering Operations for a major automotive brand based in the Midlands. The team delivers facilities support to the Test Operations team and has its objective of achieving timely, quality product releases through supporting the overall Product cycle plan.

The successful candidate in this role will work within the Cross Functional Test Facilities across various sites to ensure the safe, smooth, efficient and effective operation of the Engineering Operations Test facilities used for Product Development.

Candidates will ideally have a level 4 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience. Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies (eg experienced in problem solving control systems). A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Ideally candidates will have proven experience with ISO 9001/ISO 16949/ISO 14001 applicable standards and leading technologies. Knowledge of health and safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH and SDS. Understanding of fuel properties (Petrol, Diesel) and its variations.

Candidates will have a customer first mindset, can work independently, demonstrating tenacity, drive, perseverance and a high level of resilience with the ability to deliver under pressure to tight deadlines. We are also looking for individuals prepared to undertake further vocational training and development as identified by Engineering Operations.

A Full UK driving licence is also required for the role.

This contract is deemed as Inside of IR35 and has potential to become long-term.
