I am partnering with a great public sector organisation based in Leicester who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their corporate finance function.
Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a part of a large finance team, and you will provide strategic advice to support decision-making, whilst challenging and influencing management. You will also support the creation and delivery of a financial strategy for the organisation. You will work as part of project teams to optimise funding streams, appraise options, produce financial business cases and provide ongoing financial oversight through routine monitoring and regular updates. You will be involved in the support of the development of MI and related systems to improve the links between financial information, operational activity and outcomes. As a part of the role, you will also be ensuring the organisation\'s financial management policies and procedures are communicated and implemented effectively within the department.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be CIMA, ACCA, ACA of CIPFA qualified with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have an ability to build and maintain effective relationships and have the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation. Previous experience in a business partnering role in the public or private sector will be advantageous.
