The duration of the contract is 18 months.

The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working).

The rate on offer is 1000 - 1100 per day.

The client is a multinational high street retailer.

Role Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading retailer and support on its Finance Transformation with the implementation of a Greenfield S/4 solution. We are in search of a highly skilled SAP S/4 Finance Consultant with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA Finance and a preference for experience in Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Group Reporting. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our financial processes and systems, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in the Fit to Standard workshops to drive standard processes adopting best practices and ensuring the S/4 solution keeps the core clean.
• Financial Process Improvement: Collaborate with Finance teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the finance department.
• Leverage your in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance to design, implement, and optimize financial solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives.
• Configuration and Integration: Configure SAP S/4 Finance modules to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Documentation and Training: Support the creation of comprehensive documentation and support training to end-users and colleagues on SAP S/4 Finance functionalities.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that financial processes and reporting adhere to relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Data Analysis: Utilize financial data analysis to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Experience

• Extensive experience as an SAP S/4 Finance Consultant/Solution architect with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance with at least 2 full SAP programme implementation completed
• Bachelor's degree or Qualification in Finance, Accounting is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of all SAP S/4 Finance modules.
• Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Group Reporting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• SAP certification is desirable.
• Retail experience is preferred.
