Our client is an established financial institution with a headcount of over 500 employees. Operating from their third floor office in Birmingham, they offer a range of financial services to a diverse clientele.
Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department
- Prepare and present financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Key to this role is the continued enhancement and development of the IFRS 9 Impairment model.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
- Preparation of data for inclusion in the ICAAP, ILAA and RRP.
- Production of treasury accounting postings including hedge accounting.
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes
