A reputable fund administrator is looking for a Finance Manager/Management accountant for a 6 month FTC role based in Bristol.


Responsibilities include


  • Production of reporting pack for SLP and SFS - Quarterly
  • Develop and enhance reporting pack to capture new reporting requirements
  • Integrity of sub-ledgers - Quarterly
  • Balance sheet reconciliations - Quarterly
  • Extensive and in-depth analysis of investment and insurance accounting transactions and balances - ongoing
  • Dealing with wide-ranging audit queries Interim and annual
  • Assist in IFRS17 and SII processes - Quarterly
  • Review and understanding of bank reconciliations in a range of formats - monthly
  • Monthly Management reporting and variance analysis - Quarterly


Skills required


  • Qualified accountant CA or ACCA.
  • Broad knowledge of financial services
  • Advanced Excel skills (Lookups and Pivot Tables level)
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS17 and SII processes
  • Understanding of interaction of the key finance systems
  • Ability to work on own with a practical, can-do attitude.

Experience


  • 5 years post qualification.
  • Financial services background.
  • Preferably life and pensions company experience.
