Description

• Lead, develop and manage the finance team
• Develop, implement and maintain financial processes and procedures
• Prepare financial reports and statements
• Responsible for budget setting, year end statements and in year cost monitoring
• Working alongside the financial and management accounts team to ensure all information is available for the monthly management accounting including journals, control reconciliations and annual budgeting.
• Lead on projects to ensure continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership
• Monitor and manage organisational cash flow
• Participate in cross-departmental projects

Profile

The successful individual should have:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Ideally have previous experience in a similar role within the Not for Profit sector
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively to meet deadlines.
• Capable of building and maintaining effective relationships
• Proficient in financial software and MS Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
