Venn Group have partnered with an excellent organisation who are searching for an experienced finance change professional to support the Drivers Based Programme for Consumer Converged Finance, aiding the delivery of a Best in Class Finance Transformation planning system using Anaplan to drive forward a fit for purpose forecasting tool. The role is largely remote with occasional visits to their offices in either Hammersmith or Reading.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities


  • Helping to shape roadmaps & plans on finance integration/transformation workstreams within the Drivers Based Programme, both from a Project and mobilisation perspective
  • Liaising with Finance & Strategy subject matter experts to define and produce viable solutions & ensuring they are contributing to workstream plans at the appropriate points
  • Aiding sign off of workstreams through user cases, logic building, data modelling and UAT of actuals and forecasts
  • Analysing processes/procedures and providing tactical and strategic improvement solutions
  • Providing regular updates on project progress to the Commercial Finance Teams
  • Identification of risks and issues to the Drivers Programme team as well as Finance & Strategy LT; working with Programme on mitigations to reduce or remove risks and issues
  • Working with external teams such as Accenture, Intuita, Bedford as well as internal teams to understand and implement learnings from previous Drivers Based projects

Essential skills, knowledge, or experience

(Inc. professional or technical qualifications)


  • Accountant and experienced finance change professional with a good understanding of key finance processes, accounting standards & data platforms
  • Strong data manipulation, UAT & project management experience
  • Experience in the Anaplan forecasting tool (desirable)
  • Strategic thinker who also has the ability to focus on the detail
  • Strong understanding of different areas of finance and how they interact
  • Highly organised & comfortable within ambiguous, fast moving landscapes
  • Strong communication, influencing & negotiation skills across various levels & stakeholders
  • Self-starter, able to think creatively and break new ground whilst being a change catalyst
