p>Castlefield Recruitment are currently in the process of recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant for a large public sector organisation. The role will be hybrid working and will be paying between 20 - 25 an hour
Duties include:
- Responsible for managing and ensuring sound financial procedures are in place for year end
- Accountable for producing statutory accounts for the organisation
- Assisting in capital accounting and treasury management working closely with other finance departments
- Covering all aspects of balance sheet and cash flow as well as VAT recovery and returns
- Responsible for liaising with Auditors throughout the year end process
- Accountable for the production of monthly accounts including board and committee reports
Person:
- Highly personable with the ability to liaise with at levels
- Excellent system skills with a high attention to detail
