p>Interim to permanent Financial Accountant required for our established client based in Solihull. We are supporting in the recruitment of a financial accountant to work within a highly successful and growing business within a friendly and professional finance team.

This position is responsible for supporting the Financial Controller to enable financial control, effective budgeting and forecasting, timely reporting of financial results and compliance to accounting policies. The successful candidate will be part of a team and work under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Finance Manager and Financial Controller

- Work with the Finance Manager and the team to strive for excellence in the finance support to the business.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in conjunction with the FP&A team.
- Preparation of monthly UK Finance Board Papers.
- Completion of monthly reporting and supplementary analysis, ensuring UK and Group reporting deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure that month end SOX control file is prepared, reviewed and signed off.
- Liaise closely with Financial Manager on any accounting issues to achieve compliance with Group policies.
- Play a key role in interim and year end audits with our external auditors to achieve a smooth and efficient audit and completion of statutory accounts.
- Play a key role with internal audit, including demonstrating ongoing compliance requirements are being adhered to and assisting with any additional projects.
- Support tax compliance projects and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Involvement in cashflow reporting, currency hedging and treasury management.
