Graphic Designer (Inside IR35)


Contract Term: 2 Months


Contracting Authority: Ministry of Justice (MoJ)


Location: Hybrid Working (Once or Twice a week in London Office)


The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.


As a Graphic Designer your main responsibilities will be:


  • Managing multiple projects at once, allocating time effectively and keeping the client team updated on progress.


  • Working effectively as part of a team with copywriters, videographers, animators, printers, other designers and the client team.


  • Delivering engaging design solutions including branding, publications, illustrations, campaigns, dynamic infographics, animations and animated GIFs.


  • Working to agreed deadlines and budgets, following brand guidelines, industry design standards and accessibility guidelines.


  • Working with a range of clients discussing each job, understanding the audience, considering practical solutions and developing your ideas and creative concepts.


  • Delivering excellent customer service, demonstrating an understanding of clients priorities and constraints and providing clear and timely communications.


You ll have relevant experience in:


  • Excellent knowledge of industry standard design applications Adobe Creative Cloud with an emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.


  • Awareness of emerging design trends and technologies


  • Strong typographic skills.
