My client, a leading cultural organisation is seeking an interim Financial Control Accountant to strengthen their finance team on a 6-month temporary basis.

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days in the office and 3 at home for the duration of the contract.

The main responsibilities of the interim Financial Control Accountant are:

• Improving risk management across the organisation
• Implementing a system for reporting of opportunities and risks
• Develop budget holder training and deliver it to internal stakeholders
• Review current financial controls and identify weaknesses and suggest improvements

My client is looking for:

• A qualified accountant with internal audit experience
• Strong background in financial controls, risk, and governance
• Charity experience is desirable but not essential
• Budget management process experience
