Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

• Management of VAT Returns and associated processes
• Budget Setting for the next financial year
• Ownership of forecasting processes
• Review of contracting costs around utilities and services provided to the Trust
• Full involvement in month end financial accounting

A background of working within a Multi Academy Trust setting is desirable and experience of PSF and IMP Software will be highly advantageous. This role will not have line management responsibility but you will be required to offer guidance to junior members of the finance function where necessary.

This contract will operate on a Hybrid basis (2-3 days per week office based) and have a duration of 6 months. The equivalent permanent post will be defined over the coming months and, if relevant, the successful interim candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the vacancy.
