Job Description: An experienced HR Business Partner is sought for an interim role within a leading distribution business. The position requires a strategic thinker who can also engage in hands-on HR functions, including building the HR framework from the ground up. The role involves advising on employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation. This is a fully on-site position based in Coventry, West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and implement all core HR policies, procedures, and processes
  • Advise and support managers with complex employee relations cases
  • Lead on performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation across all HR activities
  • Partner with leadership to drive engagement and support organisational goals
  • Provide HR support across multiple sites, building strong relationships with operational teams

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a similar HRBP or HR Manager role, ideally within logistics, FMCG, distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice HR principles
  • Comfortable working in a greenfield HR environment and setting things up from scratch
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site setting
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

Salary (Rate): £350/day
