We are delighted to be working with a well-known organisation based in Nottingham as they look to hire an Interim Legal Counsel to join the team on an initial 3 month assignment. This is a role starting immediately, so you must be available on a short notice period.

The role:

Working closely with the Head of Legal this will be a varied role and day to day responsibilities could include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements such as sale of goods and services, procurement contracts, consultancy agreements etc.
• Providing expert legal advice on a range of matters including project work.
• Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in relevant laws.
• Assisting with the management of external legal counsel.
• Collaborating with cross-function teams to support on business objectives.

Your experience:

We are looking to speak with qualified Solicitor's in the UK who hold a current practicing certificate. Proven experience working as a Commercial Solicitor with excellent drafting and negotiating skills is necessary. Ideally you will also have experience working as part of an in-house legal department, however we are also happy to speak with individuals from a practice background.

Day rate is flexible depending on experience but up to 450 per day inside of IR35. The business are also looking for one day per week on-site at their Nottinghamshire hub.
