An exciting role has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join an organisation going through a period of significant change and transformation.


Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will lead a project to rationalise the organisation's supply chain, analyse and renegotiate contracts in order to deliver significant cost savings with immediate effect.


Experience of previously undertaking this type of activity is preferred, along with a good eye for detail, good numerical and analytical skills and the ability to work at pace.


In summary, you will need to have:

  • Prior experience of contract management and understanding of key contract terms.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to both absorb and interpret information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders throughout the organisation and external suppliers.
  • The ability to work independently as well as being part of a virtual team.
  • Previous experience of managing end-to-end procurement processes across a variety of categories.
