Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out a review of impairments in the lead to up to year end.
• Undertaking complex reconciliation work on the organisation s accounts and balance sheet in readiness for audit.
• Conducting a full-scale review of the organisations expense register, policy and the tax implications associated with different forms of expenses.  
• Analysing fee income to ensure the correct sums are being paid by organisations within the industry.

This is a hybrid role, requiring two-three days per week in the organisations central Birmingham based office location.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified financial accountant with fixed asset accounting experience.
• Comfortable working in a deliverables or project-based role.
• A competent user of MS Excel.
• Available at short notice.

Public Sector experience is preferable but by no means essential.
