Boston Hale are currently recruiting for a local authority who are expanding their Finance team by 3. These are exciting opportunities to contribute to the successful delivery of services to customers, residents and businesses.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within the Accountancy function for a local authority.

Day to day duties:

• Support the business partner and finance staff in providing strategic financial and technical advice
• Provide business modelling and analyse financial risk
• Prepare and analyse business cases for new activities and investment decisions
• Provide expert strategic and financial decision support for senior leadership team
• Interpret complex legislation, plan for uncertainty and create multi-year scenarios

Essential experience:

• Ideally qualified or Finalist CCAB
• Experience of working in within a local authority
• Strong written and oral communication and business partnering skills
• Strong Excel skills
