**Hot Vacanacy** - IT Auditor – Tier 1 bank – Internal Audit Function

Location: United Kingdom – London

Model: Hybrid working (6 days a month in the office)

Salary Banding: Up to £45k – plus package

We are currently working with one of Europe’s largest Tier 1 banks, who arguably have one of the best Audit training programs in the city. A number of individuals who have passed through the programs have moved into a range of prestigious leadership roles for banks across the country. The firm is looking to strengthen its Internal Audit team by bringing in an IT Auditor, the role will allow you to develop the automation tools used within the function (This is all a part of an increased audit plan for 2023). The chosen individual will also participate in assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk, using established audit methodologies, identifying control weaknesses and suggesting process/control improvements.

Qualifications / Accreditations / Required Specialism:

• Degree qualification in a relevant field such as IT or business risk management or equivalent experience

• Experience with Spark/PySpark

• Knowledge of the financial services industry such as the Retail, Wholesale and Corporate & Commercial businesses.

• Studying towards a professional qualification such as the CISA, CISM or CRISC

• An Internal Audit accreditation (e.g. CIA) is welcomed

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

• Experience of taking digitalisation opportunities through to production tangible assets

• UX design using HTML, CSS

• Programming skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript

• Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, RedHat/Unix

• Experience with Flask, Hadoop

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, creation and maintenance of efficient database tables and schemas.

• Relevant experience in an IT environment with a good understanding of risks and controls, either as an IT professional or auditor
