An IT Business Analyst is required for an 'industry disrupting' London/Lloyd's Market Insurer. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders and different business units, supporting and translating needs across multiple functions.

We are looking for an experienced IT/Tech BA with specialty insurance background, previously worked on IT/Data related projects and having hands-on SQL experience. Azure DevOps knowledge/experience will be a benefit.

This is an Outside IR35 contract for an initial term of 6 months with an ASAP start date and paying up to 750 per day, with 2-3 days working from the office in London.

Responsibilities:

• Identify changing business needs and define solutions that match the industry standards to help the organization achieve its goals
• Simplify and convey business requirements and documents to different departments
• Developing proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods
• Review and produce specifications for change and define solutions that are reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective
• Help with the development of a change management/training plan by documenting system scenarios and identify impacted roles
• Conduct business process modelling and generating applicable scenarios for the testing team

Requirements:

• Experience as Business Analyst in Lloyd's / London Market Insurance
• Proven track-record in working within the full lifecycle of software implementation projects & enhancement and IT/Data related projects
• Experience around data and data modelling will be an advantage
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal form
• Pro-active individual, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong relationship management skills, with keen eye for detail and excellent analytical thinker
