Our leading client is seeking a specialist IT Category Manager who has both internal and external recognition as an expert and is responsible for driving the sourcing process, supplier risk management, across technology, networks, and IT services.

Current relevant domain knowledge across: IT Networks, Hosting, Delivery Partner Selection, RfP Creation - having procured at least one of these solutions in the last 2 years.

Key responsibilities & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT vendor/category management.
• Working knowledge of vendor management best practices.
• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts and service level agreements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IT procurement processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong collaborator; excellent relationship building and communication skills with the ability to engage people from diverse cultures and different levels.
• Leads by example, demonstrating a clear set of values and behaviours that are in line with working in a customer service environment.
• Confident in working with Senior Management, and Stakeholders, to ensure correct process and policy is followed.
