A leading investment bank, is actively seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Java Developer to join their team within the Regulatory Reporting space. This is a contract position, and the ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading developer engagements, application architecture and design, and contributing to distributed computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement regulatory reporting solutions.
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring Boot, XML, Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Apache Ignite, Scripting (Unix Shell Scripting), Oracle PL/SQL, and schedulers (Autosys, Control M).
• Manage version control using SVN and Git repositories.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting within the banking sector.
• Proven expertise in leading developer engagements, application architecture, and design.
• Familiarity with distributed computing principles.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, XML, Agile methodologies, and JIRA.
• Experience with Apache Ignite, Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, and schedulers (Autosys, Control M).
