Java Developer - Contract

- 1 day a week on site in Milton Keynes

A senior engineer role in the Customer Communication Management function of the Bank.

To undertake software development work within the customer communications team, requiring excellent technical understanding of the systems used within the CCM area.

Typically requiring a good knowledge of coding standards and Dev-ops processes in one or more areas of the Bank. Can articulate requirements into technical design and scoping the effort required to implement.

To provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues to support the specification and development of software solutions.

• Working knowledge of applications, cloud strategy and infrastructure lifecycles.

• 5+ years of experience with Java coding experience and experience with migrating onto cloud architecture

• In-depth understanding of architecture governance structures.

• Understanding of Scrum/Agile development techniques.

• Knowledge of principles, concepts, models, standards and good coding practices regarding the duty, process, or specific project under their responsibility

• Execution of application programming, analysis, operation, or maintenance tasks, preferably within the banking sector.
