Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Kdb+ databases to efficiently handle large volumes of time-series data.

Implement and optimize complex algorithms in q programming language for Real Time data analysis, mathematical modelling, and statistical computations.

Integrate Kdb+ with other systems and data sources to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and improve overall system efficiency.

Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and reliability.

Work closely with other developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Create and maintain technical documentation for code, databases, and system architecture
