Salary: Day rate based on experience - circa 350-400 a day

We have a fabulous opportunity for a Lead Designer to take ownership of a new branding assignment for a global B2B business.

About you and the role:


We re after a fun, ambitious, and gifted Lead Designer to help us to elevate the brand across

its client facing and internal touchpoints. This role will be working within a project team,

focusing on:


  • Development of Brand guidelines, including ratifying and stress testing brand guidelines in real life scenarios.
  • Brand guidelines education specifically education and guidance on design elements across multiple business functions across 20+ countries.
  • Trouble shooting brand design queries, guiding teams where challenges arise and providing actionable take outs. You will also be the point of contact to respond to brand design queries on a daily basis.
  • Overseeing the creation of a suite of key brand assets in templatable formats (.indd, .psd, ppt etc).
  • You will be confident in presenting information in a clear and coherent way to different audiences, and you must able to multi-task your responsibilities so that your key objectives do not slip. You will be instrumental in landing the brand throughout the business, via guidance, education and creating playbooks where relevant.
  • You will sit in a project team, working closely with the brand manager and other members of the Brand and Creative team where applicable, being collaborative and confident will be crucial.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the project team to set and create a suite of hard-working key brand assets for both internal and client facing uses. These assets will need to be in a templated format (.indd & .ppt), enabling local and global teams to use best in class creative design as their starting point when creating local documentations.
  • Ensuring the design decisions made are codified within the brand guidelines and are able to be understood and implemented by the wider teams.
  • Taking Accountability of work delivered and understanding its impact on the wider business.
  • Expanding the brand guidelines, your role will be to assess what business requirements are and work with the project team to develop the guidelines out.
  • Guide wider design teams on the brand, holding workshops where relevant, building a close-knit global design community.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager on embedding the brand guidelines within the business, running workshops where appropriate.
  • Day to day point of contact for all brand design queries that come through.
  • You will report into the Creative Director for this project.


We need:

  • An outstanding portfolio of published/live work that spans different channels: from print to digital, conceptual ads, branding, merchandise, websites, and mobile apps.
  • Passionate about design and brands with a proactive personality.
  • Impeccable technical skills (software and analog). Fluent in Adobe CC (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign, After Effects), and Figma.
  • Strong experience in designing robust, multifunctional branding structures.
  • Experience working within regulated industries a benefit.
  • Innovative style, quick and calm thinking skills and a passion for problem solving.
  • Conceptual thinker and able to develop and improve brands within their existing guidelines.
  • Proven track record with creating excellent brand and design work from concept to production.
  • Ability to clearly articulate your design approach and rationale. Brand awareness and understanding of strategy-based logic.
  • Eagle eyed detail orientation with a focus on deadlines and successful delivery.
